Two new things - firstly I made another new cushion cover for my bachelorette pad That's the last of my lovely Corazones Black fabric from the now defunct Repro Depot Fabrics , which makes me a little bit sad. Number two is that I made and listed my recycled cat dress on Folksy (complete with dodgy pictures of me) Sorry, for SUPER KAWAII people only!

It's been a while since my last post, right?! I'd love to say that I've been hard at work with some major super duper crafty magic up my sleeves but it would be one great white whale of a fib. I did manage to finish my final piece for Unit 2 of my Mixed Media Art course: Since I had no idea what I was doing I think I am happy with it. Today I decided to have a selfish crafting day and made a couple of things for myself! WOAH NOW Pom Pommes Frites A new cushion cover featuring Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham and pom pom trim! The Dr. Seuss fabric was from Abakhan and the pom pom trim was from Fabric Land . I also made this swede punk rock Toilet Boys oven glove: Glove of Love This was my first ever attempt at making an oven glove so I'm quite pumped with the result. I decided to use the Toilet Boys denim (from The Fabric Fairy ) as I have a lot of it and I figured it would be hard-wearing. The heat proof wadding, lining and everything else came from Fa...

Remember my doilies? Sure you do! Well I delivered most of my existing stock over to Nelly's Treasures in Cardiff Fashion Quarter this week. Where apparently they are being admired by one and all! Does this mean that I can officially say my work sells in two countries now?! It definitely means I can start working on all new stock... Awww yisssss!

Here's an update on nothing new! I've added all of the following to my online shops: Super Kawaii! Not much else to report, I have a few exciting upcoming personal projects but don't want to say too much for fear of jinxing it all. This post was fuelled by Mickey Lee Lane, Ainsley Harriott's Cauliflower Cheese flavoured cup soup and vegetarian moussaka!

Hey y'all Cast your collective mind back a wee while and you may remember that I took a screenprinting class at AUCB and then promised to show you all the work I'd done and then forgot. Well today I have remembered! I have turned 4 pieces into canvas wall art: Feed the birds St. Paul's Cathedral - being a ginormous Mary Poppins fan, this is a big favourite You're Westminster Crabby Westminster Abbey Westminster Abbey shabby chic negative print Tower Bridge This has to be my favourite - an accidentally 80's Tower Bridge. Apparently I am a subconcious West Ham fan as well, who knew? Yes, so these are all samples from my printing class, but I'm not going to tell you anything about how I did them because I am selfish like shellfish. Hoot! Today I bring you offerings, offerings of gold (not frankincense and myrrh though, I couldn't afford those too). Here he is because he really needs no introduction: Hang him on your wall so he can watch you sleep Iesu Gwdihw And if you are still like 'who the heck is that?' then it's Owl bloody Jesus of course! The wisest of all creatures decorated in a religiousy kinda Jesusy kinda way. Isn't he lovely?  Owl Jesus is a hand embroidered textile wall art piece, I used metallic gold thread for a pop and to give it that super expensive religious look like from the icons of Olden Days, which I really love and am obsessed with since we studied them for GCSE art (yeah, I went to school - sometimes). I used as many different embroidery techniques as I could for a fun and textured finish. That's all I have to say about Owl Jesus!

Hey sportsfans, This weekend I have been working on thingys for our stall at Rumble In The Jumble. First I made bunting: Which I was particularly proud of! I used scraps of various fabrics, bias tape and felt lettering. I more or less just followed this tutorial I found on Folksy. Secondly, a ladyburg coaster / hanging thingy: Lady Chris De Burg (This was mostly my sister's handiwork and I finished it off with the fancyness around the edge) Thirdly a tattooed handbag: Don't tie me down If you have eagle eyes, or just really good human eyes, you might be able to see that the strap is a neck tie! This is a bag that says 'don't mess with me', but also has pretty birds and flowers for when you are visiting your mum. Fourthly, a bunch of knitted/crocheted badges: Badgers Fifthly, my latest invention; BubbleBombs! Handsome monkey models BubbleBombs are speech bubbles suitable for photobombing, excitifying photos of your pets or posters...

Westbourne Craft Collective At the moment we are working on a big collaberative project all to do with spring flowers and bees, with the intention of entering into a competition. I am legit excited to see how it turns out and the subject of bees and their near extinction is a topic close to my heart, so I am really putting a lot of love into this. Howdy there! Today I bring you pictures! Pictures of a special one-off gift I made for my International Twin, Sally . Jazzy potatoes One Elvis tote in crazy bright pop art colours that will either go with ALL of her outfits or NONE of her outfits. Handy! I made this from a pillowcase, hence the way none of the frills match. In other news I have been looking over old pictures - like this one: Gawthic potatoes And pining for the days of yore when I used to make rad stuff like this. Fluffy, fluffy... fluffy chair of velvet Happy International Women's Day to all the ladies reading this... and the men too I guess, because why not! Share the lady love! I finished this a ntimacassar (which I keep wanting to type as antimassacre) on Sunday, just in time for International Women's Day! Not because I meant to, because I was, and then I realised, and then I was all like 'oh!', but let's pretend I did. It's embroidered with two colours of floss blended together (turquoise and grey) and umm it's kind of wonky and charming and... umm... oh! This is a close up That was a close up. That might be all I have to say about this, apart from that I love it, I loved making it and I'm proud of it (even its wobbly bits). That's feminism for you! This antimacassar was finished with the help of Pressure Drop at Sixty Million Postcards and Karen of Make It, Save It, Mend It! fame (thank you for the new Big Word)!

My stall should [hopefully, if all goes to plan] be making an appearance at the very hip Sixty Million Postcards tomorrow arvo for Rumble In The Jumble, featuring the following [not very hip] new items, amongst old favourites and hopefully more if I get in gear this evening... The pink Miffy tote bag! (Eagle eyed readers will recognise my old tablecloth) Anything leftover will be destined for the Folksy shop [hopefully, if all goes to plan].

I have finally finished this pillow case I've been working on for actual years. I used the Sublime Stitching Lucha Libre  patterns to make it. Even though the colours are kind of weird together I really love it! Because being normal is boring. Click for the deets: Pretty neat job I think! I love the super tiny stitching on the words, like little tiny fairy lights, aww! I don't know why the only things I ever make are pillowcases and pyjamas seeing as I never sleep! Boom!
